At the beginning of the summer I weighed 212. I now weigh 179! I didn't set out to lose weight, actually, I set out to eat meals that were healthier (due to labs coming back with high blood sugars) and to make sure my puppies got adequate exercise/got to smell new and interesting things, so I'm going to consider this summer a success! It's going to be getting cold and snowy pretty soon here, so I don't know how much I'll gain back since I won't be walking the dogs in the brr-freezy-ness!

Wow, that's great progress! Keep up the great work. It is definitely more of a challenge to work out when the temperatures drop and it gets cold outside. Have you considered purchasing a fitness DVD so you can work out at home?

Awesome success! The best thing you can do as you go into winter is adjust your calorie intake to reflect your decrease in activity.

[/quote] I have a few, but they are kind of hard for me to do since I've come down with joint problems. I also don't have a lot of room to exercise inside as the coffee table is ridiculously difficult to move ( ... "it's on casters", they said ... "it will roll", they said ... not so much on carpet!!!!) However, I am trying to go back to school in the Spring semester, and they have a very nice gym there. Hopefully I'm rich enough to make that happen.
