This is my "relax activity". Where some might plunk in front of a TV, I plunk at my laptop .

I'm polishing In A Glance with Jody's notes - this is the second to last step before publishing.

After I get her notes incorporated, I'll then sit down and do one final read-through to make sure everything sounds good. Then I create my final copies and load them into Amazon. The aim is to give them enough time so both are fully live by Sunday.

What are you working on tonight?

I'm working on an eMagazine for 'tween girls called 'Tween Girls and God. Obviously, it's aimed at Christian girls aged 8-12ish. I have several writers who help with content, but I fill in the holes. Tonight I'm embedding a couple of videos, writing a short story/devotional and ... um ... I think that's all before proofreading and upload! Yay!

This thread might intertwine with the NaNoWriMo thread for November, but I think it's good to keep this active for those who aren't doing NaNoWriMo but who still want to write daily. It's a good plan to write even a little each day. It keeps your brain's gears turning smoothly.

I am doing NaNoWriMo so I wrote my first chapter today. I also wrote a fair amount of non-fiction web content.

Today my main focus is on my virtual book launch, which starts at 8pm EST - in about 2 hours -

In A Glance Book Launch

It's to celebrate my 12th medieval novel going live. You're all invited, of course. Lots of prizes and fun!

Once that is over, at midnight, I'll work on my NaNoWriMo for today .

Motivated by Val's article, Photo Writing Prompts Are Fun, on the BellaOnline Fiction writing site, I did a timed write using a photo for inspiration. It WAS fun, and sparked some creativity, so I plan to do this from time to time!

I'm so glad the article helped! You never know...your practice writing that you just completed might contain the seed of a short story or novel.

Lisa, It's funny my husband subscribed to Verizon FIOS for our triple package, but since I joined BOL I don't even watch TV anymore. He checks the sports before he goes to bed in the morning (graveyard shifter) and if I'm done on my laptop after I get home at 10 p.m. I may watch another re-run of Law & Order, Criminal Minds or NCIS...My fave shows. But I always end up falling asleep in the recliner and wake up around 3-4 a.m.:) Even my kids don't watch TV anymore, but I need Verizon for my internet

But yes, my laptop became my relaxing buddy, I can spend hours on here.

Today for fiction writing I finished up my fifth novella and sent it out to my review team. One step at a time!
