Hello Everyone--

I just posted Part IV on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder due to Sexual Abuse. This part deals with the masking of the disorder through the use of Drugs and/or Alcohol. It is pretty easy for someone to indicate that a victim is a doper or an alcoholic, and not see the problem that is causing the masking effect from the abuse. I hope this article can help some of the readers to see beyond.

PTSD (SA) Drug and Alcohol Abuse

It is a tough row to hoe, when dealing with a loved one dealing with PTSD (SA). There will be times when you may want to scream, cry and just want to run away. There is help for you as the support person as well if you need it. Not everyone is cut from the same cloth. All we can do is out best, and nothing more.

Let's help our Veterans cope with the hand they have been dealt and guide them as best we can.
