Hi everyone. I want to let you know that I have stopped the "Short Bouts of Exercise" thread. I will continue to post all my fitness information here.

So today I worked in my garden. We had a hail storm a few days ago. Fortunately my flowers did not take too big a hit, but there was lots of green litter to pick up and weeds to pull. I worked for 1-1.5 hours.

I also did Tai Chi. I am really loving learning this. I did a 20 minute DVD routine.

I forgot to put it on today until after I had done all of the yard work. I would have gotten lots more steps.

Hi everyone. Today was a good day. This morning I did 15 minutes of high intensity walking on my treadmill. For me that meant an incline of 5 at 3 mph. May not sound like much, but it sure felt like it. Remember High Intensity training burns more calories in a shorter period of time, especially if you are doing High Intensity Intervals.

After that I did 45 minutes of yoga and Pilates. My legs are sore from working in the yard yesterday. The yoga helped loosen them up.

Hi everyone. Today I did Tai Chi for 20 minutes. Made my knees a little sore but then I read about how to keep that from happing. They feel better now.

This evening after my husband went to bed I did Pilates and all my shoulder PT exercises. I did this while I watched, oh how I hate to admit it, Robocop.

It's to bad the FitBit software doesn't convert other activities into steps.

Hi everyone. I guess you noticed I took a hiatus yesterday. My husband was home and my schedule gets messed up. But it was nice to have him home for a day.

Today I did 30 minutes of yoga, including a series of standing poses for strength. Then I did 30 minutes of Pilates and was happy to see that I am able to do a little more each time.

Hi everyone. Today I had PT. Because of insurance issues I can only go to the actual PT once a week right now. However, I am doing it at home so that I get 3 days per week.

I did a short bout of Tai Chi, about 15 min.

Then I did HIIT-High Intensity Interval Training. I did intervals on my recumbent bike. I did 30 second sprints with 90 second rests, for 15 minutes. I'm using myself as a guinea pig to how well this, HIIT, really works.

Hi everyone. Well I don't have much to share with you today. I haven't done any exercise and it's late so I doubt I will do any. Just a really sluggish day and I know exercise would have helped but sometimes our minds and bodies aren't in synch.

Hi everyone. Did you get a chance to read the New Exercise of the week. If not go back to the main page of the forum and take a look.

Today I rode the recumbent bike for 20 minutes, keeping my heart rate in the training zone. I also did all of my PT exercises which took 45 minutes.

*Keep in mind that the FitBit Zip does not pick up any of the other exercise I do, only walking.

Hi everyone. Today was a good day. I walked 20 minutes on the treadmill and I'm pretty sure I could have done 30 easily.

I also did Pilates and yoga for 45 minutes.

Hi everyone. Today was an easy going day. My body needed it. I did Tai Chi for 20 minutes and yoga for 25 minutes.

I don't have my FitBit Zip info because I took it off to change my shirt and forgot to put it back on.
