I have been having so much fun with light painting. Have you guys tried this? You set your camera to a very long exposure - 15 seconds or more - then you stand in front of it with a flashlight. At night. You then "draw" in front of the camera! Here's one of my first designs, a simple spiral.

This one is a heart. It's a bit tricker to make "shapes" because you are drawing in the air. It took me a few tries to get the heart to be remotely heart-shaped

Here's one my boyfriend did. He was able to write in reverse and everything! And get the dot over the I! He is amazing. This was after only five minutes of starting, too.

By the way, Home Depot sells "safety" flashlights that can change from blue to white to green to red. Try mixing colors!

We got the Black and Decker BDCLIP-B LED Clip Flashlight. Here's its red spiral -  So nice rich colors .
