Beetle.....knowing Granpappy, he'll want you to help him put a tiny camera on that helicopter. Then he can spy on whatever he wants, even that girl at the teeth whitening kiosk. I'd better warn her to not wear a skirt.....

At least everyone is gathering on the front porch... Recommend avoiding the back porch cuz Granpappy just came back with a full sack of *provisions* he got at the fireworks stand that just went up next to the general store. Holiday is a coming & I'm sure he's gonna be testing to out-do his aerial display from lastyear.

I got the back porch all spruced up and I made my way here, where it is shady. You can fry an egg out on the water barrels today.
I made up some fresh ice cold lemonade if anyone is interested. There's a good supply of ice cream in the freezer too. If anyone needs a little cooling off I welcome you onto the front porch for some refreshments. I just handed a tall glass to Granpappy and he is quite happy.
And don't mind me. It has been a while since anyone's come to call so I have a lot of cleanin' to do on this porch....
