My son is involved in a situation not of his doing. The other party has extremely ungrounded negative energy, and no longer lives here. Several weeks ago there was a situation and that night/next day weirdness happened. This week something else happened (not here) and that night weird stuff happened; both times in my house, not my sons! (I would rather her negative energy target me than my son) Besides crystals and black tourmaline, what would you recommend to repel this negative energy? I'm not that good at meditating and surrounding myself with white light, and neither is he, so I figured I'd load him up with crystals, and me too

I'd give your house a thorough cleansing and then you could shield it. Have a read:

If visualising is hard work you could place a protective stone on either side of every entrance- doors, windows, chimneys and then just imagine they are sealing each one so that only light and helpful energy can enter.
