I agree with the eye, that nature has no polarity, so it is natural for you to feel better when outside in nature.
I have been following this thread from the beginning and have some thoughts that may help to clarify some things.
I sent you a PM Elleise about what I am picking up on and will copy/paste it here. I feel it should be posted for all to see and hope it will offer some new insight to help with the issue.
To begin with, I feel the house cannot be cleared. The spirits who are there belong there. The house was built on ancient sacred burial grounds and the spirits have been disturbed. They need to be left in peace. All the weird things happening stem from the fear that the spirits have of their sacred place being trespassed upon and not respected.
This is what I am picking up for that whole area by the lake. If you would like for me to research it further, let me know the name of the lake and the area you live in (state, town, county, etc.).
Check on the history of that land around the lake and for ancient burial grounds. Or I will look into it for you if you like.
Take care, be safe, and try to let the spirits know you have compassion for their plight and fears, and that you and Chris will leave as soon as is possible, meanwhile let them also know you mean them no harm or disrespect.
After you gave me the name of your area I did some research. This is what I found:
That whole area was once the Hopewell Indian tribal lands. They were the "Mound Builders". They buried their dead in mounds and also used the mounds for ceremonial rituals (on top of the mounds).
I will do some research for you. It is more than likely that many mounds have been bulldozed down to flat lands to build homes. This has been done since colonial days, long before Europeans knew what the mounds were -- they just wanted flat lands for farming purposes. Even in recent times, mounds have been disturbed and flattened in order to build on the land.
I am thinking the spirits of medicine men are still working their magic/shamanistic rituals to protect the mounds that were once there -- and this can be done by casting spells/curses far into the future.
Sprinkle some loose tobacco around the house outside as an offering to the spirits, letting them know you mean no harm or disrespect to them.
Then I did more research:
Less than a mile from where you live is a park that was once sacred burial grounds. In May 1930, the owners who created the park charged tourists to come see the "spectacle", as they called it, of the mounds and skeletons on display in the museum.
This never should have been allowed. It is total disrespect for the Pottawatomie ancestors.
It looks to me that the owners of this land where the park now is, are the culprits who have greatly disturbed ancient spirits.

The Grave of the Indian Chief Snachwine You can do more research or hone in on the Pottawatomie Indian tribes and their history in your area.
I already feel some calm beginning to settle over the spirits as they sense that someone is trying to understand.
Let me know if there is anything else I can research for you.
When I saw pictures of the house that you posted, I sensed no evil there. I actually felt a peace -- of course because of my beliefs and my understanding of Native American beliefs and spirituality, I am very much at peace with their spirits. Looking at the pictures of the area outside, it is lovely and peaceful for me.
