Is there such a thing as an allergy diet? Well, it seems some foods can lessen your seasonal allergy symptoms and others can increase your problems. Find out more from the latest article on the Allergies and Colds page at http://www.bellaonline.com/site/allergiesandcolds

This is great info, Sheree. I used to have lots of seasonal allergies, as well as asthma. About 10 years ago, I started eating better and now I'm eating mostly organic food, plus growing my own greens and making green smoothies every day.

Over the years, I've really managed to build up my immune system to the point where I only very rarely get sick. By that I mean I might get a cold every couple years. Also over that time, my allergies have pretty much disappeared. I feel like a healthy immune system is the key to getting rid of allergies and the foods you mentioned, like the green tea and probiotics are all very good for boosting your immune system.

Also, some people are sensitive to food and ingredients like gluten, wheat, corn, soy, and other things that can cause allergic reactions too.

I totally agree with that! Sometimes it's just a matter of finding the right thing to bring your body back into balance but eating a healthy diet and exercising to reduce stress is always a great place to start.

I've tried many alternative such as acupuncture, essential oils, herbs, etc and right now I'm seeing a holistic chiropractor who deals with natural remedies and diet changes. I've had great success with these things.
