Wow, Driving home yesterday. Traffic on the freeway came to a stop. I saw a minivan stopped on the middle lane. I was coming up in the right lane. I looked and saw something in the road. I pulled forward and I saw something. I was unsure what it was but instinct took over and I jumped out of my car. (yes , on the freeway) and with nothing but my bare hands. I grabbed up this large baby from the road. I had shorts and a tshirt on and it never dawned on me that he could rip me to shreds but I got back in my car and made a run for home. That eagle actually did not move an inch. He knew I was trying to help. He nesled my chest and actually spead his wings over my chest with his head nestled down in the middle. Talk about being in the right place at the right time. I l;ove birds and spend so much time watching them. It is truly a miracle I came along. DO YOU think anyone else would stop. What is wrong with people. I am bringing it to Sarvey Wildlife Center today. They are a wonderful organization and they need all the help they can get. Please look into this wonderful place and see what you can do!
