There are no libraries here. I live in a small town and the nearest two towns are just a little bit bigger and not much is found there.

It is a nice place to walk though and it is something that I always loved to do. There are many mountains, forests and water around. I plan on starting to drive again (im too stressed when driving BUT its stupid me not driving here because theres not a lot of traffic...the thing that has stopped me is the little parking lots..thats my excuse) and if I can do that I could take my dad's car and drive to waterfalls and things like that (ive never been to a waterfall and there are 2 near).

Also the reason why I want to start getting up earlier is that I am still searching for a job so if one day I finally get one that will help me (theres not a lot of jobs here and night jobs dont exist at all here).

I also want to go back to school (i was just about to do that when i lost my job) or at least learn how to swim or try to learn German.

I just cannot do anything besides be on the internet or in front of the television or lay in bed (when i finally get there) anymore, it took me a while but I finally am fed up with my laziness and I am doing something about it.

I always have been a night person but there's something about early morning that I love. It's like that time have a different feel and even a different smell.

If I continue with taking off one hour when I go to bed and get up I will be back on track on April 26. I'll start by walking everyday so I can have some energy back then I'll start eating more healthy and normally then I will do something worth while for my poor little brain (for a job ill have to look elsewhere [cities more than 1 hour away] because i have tried every possible places here..if i can find a job there i could move out on my own so that would be 2 positives).

Definitely one step at a time is the key! We make so many hurdles in our minds and we have to whittle them away one by one.

Do you have a camera? Maybe an incentive could be to post some photos for us of a waterfall!

Hi Lisa!

You are so right about the one step at a time.

I for sure will take pictures when I will go see the waterfalls, if I can figure out how to post pictures here I will (i cant even figure out how to post our own avatar).

OK we can definitely help! One step at a time. Let's start with the avatar.

Read through this page -

Creating an Avatar

So step 1. Do you have a photo of yourself on your home computer somewhere? If not, do you know someone who has a digital camera?

Thank you Lisa for that link! I understand everything except getting the picture on the internet. Can we use one without having a Photobucket account?

I never take one of my pictures as profile pictures. I hate lots of avatar pictures already the right size (i think...they all are 128X128...either in JPEG or GIF). Normally I never have any problems getting a picture for my profiles because they ask to find a picture on your computer and this I can do with ease.

Imagine I am sitting here in Massachusetts and I want to see your profile photo. That photo has to be somewhere on the web in order for me to see it. I can't look into the insides of your computer, thank goodness.

So you have to put the photo onto the web somewhere, in order for me to see it.

Photobucket is a free place to store photos. You can use any other place you have access to. There are lots of options. But it does have to be somewhere on the web - otherwise I won't be able to see it from my home computer.

Does that make sense?

Some forum systems might let you put your photo onto their actual forum server, but we don't allow that here for safety reasons. Someone could load up a pornographic photo and then we'd be liable for it.

Okay that is too complicated for me. When the system (or whatever that is called when you choose a picture for a profile) asks to browse your computer to pick a picture it is easy so I have no problem with that.

On Tree Nation we do have a photo album with our profile (mine is still empty) so I could one of these days put an avatar in it and see if I could add it here (i finally understood how to post pictures in articles and profile comments over there and a technical problem is stopping me from doing that..that makes me think of going there to check out if thats taken care of...if i finally got that i could get how to post an avatar here).

Thanks for the help Lisa!

That's exactly what Photobucket will do. It'll let you browse your computer for an image.

Start at Photobucket.com - it's really easy to sign up. That'll mean you're set for all websites you use all over going forward, and can post your waterfall photos there for us to enjoy!

I had my EAS shake for breakfast and a bunless hamburger for lunch. So far so good!

How are you doing today? What have you had?

Hi Lisa! Got up at about 14:00. I had two toasts for breakfast and eventhough I was not very hungry when the supper of my parents was ready I ate a little of it to get rid of my two calciums (it was a pork roast with mashed potatoes) and after a little of that I had a ice cream sandwich. Later I will grill mushrooms in butter and add this to some pasta or rice, if I go with pasta and add sauce instead of tomatoe paste I will add cheese. I also have chocolate, different candy, two types of chips and more ice cream sandwich to choose from tonight.
