I have begun "oil swishing" or "oil pulling" which is an ancient Ayurvedic practice. This involves swishing the oil (organic sesame is the best) around the mouth so that it penetrates every nook and cranny. You should vigorously pull the oil between the teeth for 15-20 minutes in the morning.
