Hi Bella Family:

Do you date online?

If yes, why?

Any safeguards to share with us?

I used to date online, and i think online dating is great. I know people who get married and had kids this way... i think this shoes the succes of online dating.

Hello! New to the forum! i've tried online dating and I met some nice men, some weird men and just really rude men... my experience was ok. I used online dating because, well it was something I wanted to try and working from home, i'm not always out in a situation were I meet fine men all the time! I'm in a very wonderful relationship now but I met my guy at a festival! Anyway its worth a try! Good luck!

I dallied with online dating some years ago but was too cowardly to actually meet anyone living locally to me.

I did meet my husband online, though! But as I was then in the UK we did a lot of letter writing and talking on the phone before we met, so I felt I'd already got to know him quite well.

If you're meeting people in the area where you live, I think you would have to be very careful and follow all the safety guidelines.

oh yes be careful!! Always meet in a public place and don't give too much away about where you live etc. But I never experienced any bad situations when meeting up in person...either you like them or you don't... stay and have a few more drinks to get to know them better or say "well I have a deadline for tomorrow, it was nice meeting you" and when you leave make sure they don't follow!!
