The German Stork Route is a fascinating trip, which crosses many other popular scenic and historic tourist routes in the north and east of Germany.

After coming to life towards the end of March, and until September when the storks fly off to Africa, its length is filled with spectacular, large and often very bulky, stork's nests with hundreds of breeding pairs and their young.
