Thanks to auto-immune diseases (Systemic Lupus and Graves Disease)I've had migraines since the late 1980's. Much later it was discovered via MRI that I have small vessel disease due to inflammation, hence the migraines. I cannot take the usual meds because Lupus has made me hyper-sensitive to medication. So as time went on I learnt to cope by putting my mind elsewhere, a kind of Bio-feedback if you will. However, there are times when the migraine is so bad that a dark room and absolute quiet is a necessity. Are there any other members here who have migraines through their own auto-immune disease? If so how do you cope?
