on the way to Luca from Kilika (by boat, of course) you have to talk to a bunch of people all over...Wakka and Lulu "you think he's tellin da troof?" blah blah blah.......finally you get to a part where he dreams about his dad doing the somethingorother markII shot that he told Yuna about and told Tidus he'd never be good enough to do. It comes to a part where the dad's jeers come at you from every direction. The game explains it for you, you have to aim at each thing that is said by choosing the direction it comes from, such as up, diagonally right & up, down.....you'll see when you get there. It's your only chance to get it as far I as I know, though, so if you don't get it then, I'd recommend resetting.
