I've recently been trying my hand at prim dolls and two of my creations have inspired ideas for a children's story. I'm still in the notes stage but plan to flesh it out.

Has your doll making ever inspired other creative endeavors whether it be writing or other handicrafts?

Definitely doll making is one the best all time activity for me. I do always keep my self thinking of that with very innovative ideas. I am now a days implementing one Christmas gift for my family and hopefully it will be fantastic.

Yes, definitely, I've started designing a line of young children's clothes.

Whenever I make doll clothes, I feel like I am trying out a design that could be for an adult or child.
I have only made a few dolls, but it was a really fun experience! I hope to make a few more.

Talking of dolls ,makes me think of my childhood days when we would make clothes for them and doll houses.My kids are big now and I have to wait for my grandchildren to make something for them.Look at this link to get more ideas

I have made loads of dolls over the years. For my grandchildren and now my great grandchildren.
I just like making them. If my friends or family don't want them I usually give them to my local help the aged charity shop.

I am making the clothes for a 24 inch doll, which is a lot bigger than I usually make. The pattern calls for Stockinette for the body, which I have never used before. I am sure I will figure it out in the end.
If not, I will make my own pattern using material like my other dolls.
