Hmm... for me, healthy food is basically anything I make at home from scratch. I can control the ingredients so I make sure everything is uber fresh -- fruits, vegetables, seafood, poultry.... Lots of multi-grain, fiber rich foods are also part of my diet. We eat a lot of grilled, baked & quick stir-frys.
Making food at home really allows you to control the type of oil, the amount of oil, the amount of salt, the method of preparation & portion sizes.
I read the nutritional label of every product I purchase too.
