My left foot is almost a half size larger than my right foot. Finding a good fitting pair of shoes is not easy.

It so true that good shoes make the difference. Just got the husband new cross trainers. He has wide feet and keeps to the same brand. I also stick to the same brand of cross trainers since shoes are too expensive to experiment with.
