Dear Jilly -

That is fantastic that you are finding ways to nurture your priorities. You are doing wonderfully!

I'm looking at my priorities and they feel good for 2012. I like my priority of "find the lesson in every day". It reminds me that there is always something to learn. Hurdles are there to train me how to become a better person.

Hi Jilly, it does not matter how fast things move. The important thing is that they are moving. (JOY)

I am striving to revisit my priorities and goals every quarter, with the changing of the seasons. It's spring!

I am very pleased with my priority list. It is:

~ help others directly
~ help others help themselves
~ be healthy
~ be serene
~ find the lesson in every day
~ organize my world

Each one feels important to me. When I think of various tasks I do, they all fit into one of those categories.

How are you guys with your priorities? Are they fairly set?

My main priority is my career and my health and to get rid of "stuff". I am a giver and in my work, I help people everyday, but I can see I need some of my own attention.

Hi Jamise, when you say "stuff" do you mean material clutter or all those little things that can take up your time? (JOY)

Hi Loong,

To live a life with compassion, simplicity, respect and peace is great. What a different world this would be if everyone did that.

Summertime is a wonderful time to review your priorities and see how they feel to you! Are they still a good beacon and guiding light for you?

I am happy that each time I look at my priorities, they do resonate with me. That gives me faith that they are good for me at my stage in life.

Next, once priorities are set to give you a compass, it's time to look at five year goals! Five Year Goals

Hi Lisa, most people wait till Dec or Jan to review their priorities. Summer is indeed a great time to do this and also to review the progress of those New Year Resolutions! (JOY)
