I have a small amount of qiviut that I am just scared to take out of the bag and try to spin. Anyone here spin musk ox before? What tips do you have for a newbie?

Lucky you! I have yet to spin qiviut, but I would guess it would spin like bison. Try cupping it gently with your backward hand and use a short draft. That should allow it to maintain its softness and loft. I can't wait to see what you make from it! smile
