Just to add a point of view from the male perspective: don't limit yourself to what is commonly perceived as "sexy lingerie". It's worth finding out what your partner likes, too. Just because it's lingerie doesn't mean it's automatically sexy. A great example of that is corsetry: some guys are totally nuts about it but for others it's totally "meh". Pantyhose/tights is another example - some love 'em, some hate 'em (or just don't think they're sexy). I'm not talking about heading into the land of fetish, either. A lot of everyday stuff is very sexy. For example, some of us are rather fond of sports bras (*raises hand*) or cropped jeans shorts. :)
