Was so busy the rest of the week that I forgot to post meals and can't remember all my food but most of it was healthy. My only real downfall was a brownie from Starbucks that I had for lunch with coffee on Fri.

I had been craving a brownie all week so was out running errands and stopped at Starbucks to get a grande coffee with half and half and they had brownies. I figured the universe was trying to tell me to just give in to this craving I had been denying myself all week plus I was stressed about how much work I had so that made it a lot harder to not have it. I used to feel super guilty for doing this kind of thing but now I don't. I know how I eat the rest of the week so it's not an issue.

Some of our healthy meals the last few days were:

snap peas, carrots, onions, mushrooms sauteed in olive oil and soy sauce combined with quinoa and served with grilled chicken (had the rice/veggie leftovers with scrambled egg the next day)

grilled flank steak with spinach, cucumber, tomato, whole grain rice and ranch dressing salad (just tossed it all together in a bowl and it was good but don't use a lot of ranch, a little goes a long way)

chocolate berry smoothie - made with 8 oz water, 1 scoop acai greens superfood, 1 scoop organic chocolate whey, 1/2 banana, 1 cup berries, 2 tbsp yogurt (not so great but very filling)

My other workouts this week were:

Fri. 10 min. mobility 15 min. walk 5 min. stretching

Sat. 10 min. mobility 20 min. upper body 20 min. walk 10 min. stretching

Sun. 20 min. walk 20 min. stretching

Had a great food day yesterday. Meals were:

veggie stir fry w/couscous and eggs - onions, mushrooms, carrots, snap peas, olive oil, soy sauce, couscous and 2 scrambled eggs (this is so good I need to take a pic for my new fatloss meals ebook), plus 2 cups coffee

8 oz water w/acai greens superfood and orange emergen-C electrolytes, 2 cups coffee

1 slice multi grain w/2 oz grilled organic chicken sausage, 1 tbsp bbq sauce, 6 pickle slices, 32 oz water

3 oz spinach and feta stuffed salmon, 1/4 cup rice, spinach, cucumber, tomato, carrot, snap pea salad w/1 tsp ranch dressing, 20 oz chia water

workout were: 20 min. full body fatloss workout, 20 min. walk, 5 min. stretching

Today's meals are:

2 scrambled eggs, 1 slice multi grain w/butter, 2 cups coffee

2 big spoonfuls cottage cheese, 2 big poonfuls vanilla yogurt, small apricot, handful of raisins and walnuts (so good and also going in my new fatloss meals ebook), 20 oz water w/green superfood, chia seeds, orange emergen-C

snack - not sure

last meal - probably grilled chicken or flank steak and raw greens wrap (greens = mustard, turnip, collard spinach)

Had a great intermittent fast yesterday that ended with a huge bowl of raw greens and 1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar, 3 small pieces of roasted pepper and sausage pizza and 2 fake beers. I also drank tons of water and a few cups of coffee yesterday during my fast.

I feel really great today and my abs are feeling/looking super flat. I think this may be a result of my green superfood/chia drink that I have daily. You can read more about those supplements here: Best Weight Loss Supplement to Lose Weight Fast

Today I decided to vary my greens drink a bit and make it ever healthier. It was a blend of water, acai green superfood powder, chia seeds, 2 huge handfuls of organic mixed greens (spinach, turnip, mustard, and collard greens), 2 tbsp organic vanilla yogurt, 1/2 banana. Quick, easy, tasty, filling and super healthy!

Lunch today is veggie, quinoa, egg stir fry (one of my new favorite fatloss meals)

Snack will probably be 1 slice 12 grain with 1 tbsp pb and handful of raspberries mashed on top

Dinner will be grilled flank steak and brussel sprouts

Forgot to mention that yesterday's workout was 60 min. flow yoga and 20 min. walk and below is a pic of my green smoothie. My waist is now down to 27" bcz of this drink. Maybe I will get down to 26" again. Haven't been that small since college.

Today I had veggies, egg, quinoa stir fry for breakfast and two cups coffee.

Lunch was a berry green weight loss smoothie made with water, mixed greens, raspberries, banana, green superfood powder, chia seeds, and orange emergen-C. Just made a slideshow of Weight Loss Smoothies. Article coming soon.

Dinner is 2 small pieces of leftover pizza and 2 fake beers.

Workout today is 20 min. full body fatloss and toning plus quick core circuit. Filming it and posting it on my fatloss workouts site soon.

I'm intermittent fasting today so I went high carb the last two days so I would not be tempted to end my fast with pizza again.

Some of my high carb meals this week would be what bodybuilders call carbicide which I find so hilarious. If you want the carbs or your body is telling you it needs carbs then eat them but learn how to moderate the rest of the week.

Below are a few high carb meals I had in the past two days. The interesting thing is I weighed 116 lb this morning and my waist is maintaining at 27" and belly is flat! Carbs are great for fatloss you just need to learn how to use them to your advantage.

- 1 cup pasta with butter, cottage cheese and feta melted in while hot plus 3 oz tuna and handful of grape tomatoes mixed in plus 1 slice garlic toast (soooo good)

- french toast made with 1 slice 12 grain and 1 egg and topped with 2 tbsp vanilla yogurt, 1/2 apple diced and 2 tbsp walnuts (also very good)

- 1/2 cup greens quinoa tabbouleh, 3 oz grilled flank steak, and 1 tbsp guacamole stuffed in a medium flour tortilla (carbs inside of carbs on father's day) plus I had 2 cookies for dessert too (oh the carbicide horror, hahaha)

Workouts this week have been:

Mon. 10 min. mobility 20 min. full body fat loss 15 min. stretching

Tue. 10 min. mobility 20 min. lower body 10 min. core abs workout 30 min. stretching

Wed. 10 min. mobility 20 min. upper body and Pussy Cat Dolls workout dvd (it's my first time trying it and so looking forward to it)

Thur. same as Mon.

Fri. 60 min. yoga

Sat. day off

Sun. 4 mile walk and 30 min. stretching

Quinoa is one of my favorite carbs. Just 1/4 cup mixed with veggies and a lean protein really fills you up. You can also have it with fruit and yogurt for breakfast.

Check out my favorite quinoa meal below. This pic is from my new ebook Your Best Female Figure, featured in this article: Bodylicious Workout Tips

Our healthy food editor just put up an article with recipes from the book born to run. I gotta try this one:

"Mama Titas Pancakes

In the book, the author describes the pre-race food heroically prepared by a lady in Urique, the Mexican town where the race started. Prior to the race, Mama Tita prepared pancakes which McDougall describes as tasting like pound cake. He reveals that the pancake recipe included whipped boiled rice, overripe bananas, cornmeal, and goats milk. While this version does not quite live up to Mama Titas standard of tasting like pound cake, they are still pretty delicious. Another bonus is that they are gluten-free and could easily be made vegan by replacing the honey with agave.

1 cups cooked brown rice
1 cup coconut milk
2 ripe bananas
1 tablespoon honey
 cup white cornmeal
2 teaspoons baking powder"

I'm intermittent fasting today but thinking about ending my fast with this delicious Nori Rolls Recipe. Looks so easy, quick and healthy!

Been working hard and working out even harder since getting Pilates and Ballet certified this month but hope to be able to post more recipes and carb cycling updates soon.
