I was checking out weight loss videos on youtube the other day and this woman was going on about how disappointed she was with her weight loss progress. She had been on a workout plan for 4 weeks after not working out for years (I'm talking like a decade).
She figured she would go from a size 16 to a size 6 in 4 weeks. Hilarious! It took me 18 months of hardcore workouts and clean eating to lose 30 pounds of stubborn post pregnancy fat and I've been working out all my life.
It's just ridiculous how so many people have such unrealistic expectations that set them up for failure or mediocre results that don't last. The woman I mentioned above gave up her quest after about a year of hard work that got her down to a size 10. Imagine where she would be now if she had kept going. Instead she's stuck or worst back where she started.
Weight Loss Tip: Weight loss isn't a 4-12 program. It's a process that can take months even years. It doesn't happen overnight and once it does you have to keep working at it for life if you don't want to gain it back. It's not easy but it is simple.
