currently my favorite sweatshirt/jacket is fraying badly at the cuffs. No good for wearing in public any more but it still keeps me warm at home. I'll miss it when its gone!
A week or 2 ago the shirt of a pair of flannel PJs fell apart, and I cut it up to make dust wipes. I ended up with a sleeve cuff attached to a long strip of seam and was about to throw it away when the cats attacked it. It is now their favorite toy.

You are funny, Jilly!

Just noticed my stretchy legging pants are getting full of holes along the seams and not worth repairing because of the thin material and lycra. They are so comfy and I hate to toss them. One pair is really bad, the other is getting bad, and the third pair is still decent.

This week i used up two pens entirely, and that made me happy. I prefer to use up a pen instead of having a zillion partly used pens.

I actually do have a zillion partly used pens, but since I am working steadily to drain them, if felt good to totally use up the ink on 1. my purse pen and 2. my home desk pen.

Funny how they both died in the same week. The pens were totally unrelated to each other. smile

And I recycled the pen parts too - plastic pieces in the plastic recycling and the steel springs to the metal recycling. All i had to toss was the ink tube part.

I just selected out two "new" pens from the bag of zillions to replace the purse and desk pens.
