Facebook - Really doesn't have a job search component at this time. If you blog, you can build a professional looking "page" and draw attention to your expertise. Hey...employers will be checking you out anyway... The disadvantage is you have to get the right people to "follow you"
Twitter - Many employers, headhunters, employment agencies and recruiters are tweeting jobs. New Twitter apps are popping up. Twitterjobsearch.com (twitjobsearch) has job listings. As well as tweetmyjobs.com. The disadvantage to using Twitter is if you don't use the search function, you may miss the posts in your feed.
LinkedIn - Make contacts. Join groups. Many groups post jobs.
