That is just heart breaking. I wish we all could keep our promises to sweet animals of all varieties.

I think that photo will cause heart pangs forever. A forever home. Some adults are so fickled they can't even keep that promise to their children.

In this disposable society I don't think much of anything means enough to people, as soon as they become inconvenient. Children are abandoned, or a raised by a nanny or a baby setter. How can any animal or child for that matter learn trust?

Oh my gosh, Diana, that picture and the saying is a real heart-wrencher. Makes me want to run to the shelter and adopt every animal there.

Maybe that explains why my husband has me in handcuffs and has hid the car lol. The saying and picture has had a heck of an impact on me. I found it I believe yesterday. I even dreamed about it last night. It has certainly hit a raw spot in me.
