We love General Conference. Both in April and October it is such an inspiring time. We don't have kids at home any more so we don't have to get creative and provide interactive ideas to keep the kids engaged. I do remember having special breakfasts, and providing the kids with names of the Quorum of the Twelve. They kept track of who spoke and what color of tie each person wore. They listened for special words to see what topics were spoken of. Gardening, temples, missionary work, family history, etc. As adults, for years now, we keep notes of the talks in an ongoing notebook, and then when the Conference issue of the Ensign comes we read the talks.
