The next article on quotations next week will be about the common metaphor people understand as 'life is a journey'. I found a very inspiring poem and I thought it would be nice to see what others felt about this metaphor/poem - does it apply to you too?
I definitely agree that life is a journey. I could not have ever predicted how my life has gone thus far. Every choice and decision you make effects the next phases of your life. It is an opportunity to learn and grow all along the way. Getting in touch with your inner being to find your true path in life is a journey all in itself.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
