Carl Sagan (1934-1996) - astronomer, writer, broadcaster, visionary - wrote: "I would like to believe that when I die I will live again." I won't quote the entire passage, which is quite lovely, because it has been beautifully illustrated here: Pencil Zen cartoon: Make the most of this life

Wow, Mona! This is truly beautiful! So rich with feeling!
There is a beauty about the cosmos that rivals any creation myth ever recited. As I sit here on my couch, it's nice to remember that we're all a part of something so grand. It almost leaves me speechless.

Gosh Mona, Carl Sagan was something wasn't he? Was one of my heroes and influences, and, even though it was long before the internet, used to read just about everything he put out there. Buying all his books and actually going to the library and trolling through the newspapers and journals.
He was so gifted and inspirational, and the 'cartoon' you linked is just great and to be grateful everyday for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides ....so true.
