Recipes for chocolate covered strawberries I made this for my BF as a V-gift and he love it so much. Hope it make a kind help. I buy a pack of fresh ripe strawberries in the supermarket. I took 15 biggest, nicest fruits. Wash them carefully under running water, do not soak them. The next step is melt chocolate. Use dark chocolate to make dipping. After being washed, strawberries have to be rinsed by paper towel. When chocolate is melted, still hot, dip the strawberries into to covered the whole fruit. Set on the dish. Use white chocolate to drizzle outside the dark chocolate. Then chill it till chocolate set. To present it, put strawberries on the cake paper cups or with a heart shaped box. Give them with a rose to your beloved. So romantic right.

I've had strawberries dipped in dark, milk, and white chocolate. All are really good. You can decorate any way you like, and I have even seen some rolled in mini chocolate chips after the strawberry has been dipped in melted chocolate.

This is a very romantic and tasty treat.

So, if we use dark chocolate, can we argue that this dessert is truly a health food...lol! I prefer the dark chocolate and have only tried this once. The chocolate set, but the whole thing seemed to get soggy quickly.
