I don't know. Rock music is definitely in decline - I'm not into a lot of the big rock bands of recent years - Nickelback, Coldplay, Creed, etc. I think rock music had it's heyday in the 60's and 70's. But I'm still confident that some emerging bands will bring rock back. Like the Black Keys - when I first heard their album "Brothers", I honestly thought it was a 70's band I was listening to.

Classic rock music is still prevailing in China, and I love it also very much, i don't think it will die down, either. Forever support.

I think Rock nowadays isn't that good as it was in 70s and 80s or even the 90s

"What they call rock today is just not the same"

Of course not. Should it be? What you think of as the classic rock sound is different from what your parents or perhaps older siblings would have thought of as rock music.

"There will never be another RUSH, ACDC, Neil Young, Crosby, Stills and Nash Beatles, etc..."

And in the heyday of these bands already there were those saying that there will never be another Chuck Berry, Eddie Condon, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bill Haley etc.

Heck, listen to a band such as the Who from their first through their last albums. Rock wasn't even the same from the beginning of their career to the end.

No, it's not dead. For any art form to remain vital, it has to evolve.

Rock has been dead since ABBA recorded their last song in August, 1982.
