I love 'paint by number' kits. That is a darling kitty. I used to paint those pictures a lot until I learned how to bead and embroider.
That kitty in your painting looks like Gentleman Thomas (Tommy), the first cat my kids and I had. Tommy was such a dignified kitty.
I am trying to finish up an embroidered picture of a kitty hiding under a huge pot of ferns. I will post the image of it if I can find it.

Thanks! I think I will put one frond of the fern just over his right ear, so he will be peeking out.
