Susan, this is a great article on how to patiently and humanely work with, not against, the horse. Very beneficial information for those who want to learn the proper way to become one in spirit with the horse.

Equine Behaviour Modifiers

When we drive out to see the wild horses they often approach us with just as much curiosity and friendliness as they sense in us. They are marvelous, intelligent creatures of beauty. Some of the bands have a stallion that will not let anyone near his family and we highly respect him for his responsibility of keeping his band safe in the wild.

Thank you for such a great article. I still get the emails from The Cloud Foundation and other foundations that are doing all they can to protect the wild horse, so I really enjoy reading your articles on how to treat and work with horses.

Thanks Phyllis - we have a lot of work to do everyday to try to protect our wild horses - it is good to hear that you continue to support these precious herds.
