LOL Jilly, it was not EASY at all.

I kept putting off the move until I finally realized that Sylvester was not going to wait forever.

I am glad I did move as things are falling in place. Just need to get my income right...

At least you did it. That's a big step! Just think about taking babysteps to get the income situation fixed. You have just made a huge life change.

Now to answer your original question - I basically did not take any of my furniture as it was just a ratty sleeper couch I used after my only child moved out at age 18 for college. When she visited, we would share my couch.

I never did accumulate a lot of stuff due to the income issues while bringing up my only child by myself for 18 years - but had to teach her to "downsize" each time we moved. Yes, the home got smaller.

With my last move, there were no issues as it was just me.

Oh and Burt, I love the Tumbleweed houses! They are not the most affordable way to go, but they do include everything. It's the best way to have no stress I think, if one wants to downsize their living spaces.
