Someone recently told me there is no humane humans. I find a lot of wonderful examples of humane humans here at exoticpets.bellaonline.com ! Kind, sweet, caring and loving people. I can't turn away an animal. No animal has ever turned me away. They are always there with a gentle nudge, kinds, warm and loving eyes, a lick or just sit next to you quietly. They seem to know your needs.

Isn't it interesting how often our pets have picked us? They are exquisitedly intuitive!
It reminds of a a Siamese cat we once had. He had started hanging around our house. He looked healthy enough but begin to notice he was losing weight. My mother brought him in. It didn't hurt she had served salmon that night. She gave some to the cat. He moved in. Occasionally he disappear overnight but always turn back up. One day he came home with a note attached to his collar. Evidently his owner had been on vacation when he decided to move in with us. What did they do, just decide he could fend for himself?? But anyway, they said we could have the cat. At that point, it wasn't their decision to make, the cat had made the decision.

LOL. How funny, Diana! You're right. The cat had already decided!
A neighbor's cat would come over for dinner all the time. He liked our menus better.
I love animals. The sentience in their eyes is indisputable.

One time I went to a quik shop for some gas. It was before pay-at-the-pump. The rain was coming down in sheets. I opened my car door to get in and a Great Dane pushed her way in ahead of me. She was so thin that I could see every bone in her tail and count all of her ribs. She came home with me, got a bit healthier, and went to live with a forever family.
Another dog, a Border Collie, found me in a snowstorm. She came home with me, so that she could have 8 puppies. Mother and pups all found good homes. At the time, I had four dogs and a cat who were all strays that I had adopted.

All my pets have been rescues. I love my little kitty family!
Sabira the Musician Editor here breeds Savannah cats - send her a note and see about the babies there. She lives in San Diego, CA.

Animals I feel are the only ones capable of unconditional love, except for one ferret all my current animals are rescues, including my kitty family. I lost count many many years ago, the number of animals that have adopted me. What a truly wonderful and warm feeling it is. The one ferret I bought, looked at me in a pet store and batted her pretty little eyes

Many times, in fact I think there is an invisible note on our house, sucker for animals. They all seem to be dumped here knowing they will have proper homes.

I remember a shelti/miniature collie mix that adopted us when I was young. She was so well behaved. She appeared to have been in a car accident. She showed up on our doorstep cut-up, wounds on the head, she was also pregnant. We lived on a small ranch in the country. My Dad promised I could keep one of the male pups. She had five females. I kept two
