Many women place a high premium on their appearance yet continue to smoke. Is it possible to have healthy looking skin and smoke at the same time?

Hi Samantha:

I don't smoke, but my boyfriend does. I do tend to worry about how this affects my health and skin as "second" hand smoke. At age 53, believe me, I am not trying to age too fast(lol).

I don't think one can really look youthful and smoke. It's just so toxic for the skin and breaks down the collagen. I can pretty much tell just by looking if someone is a long time smoker. It's the worst around the lips.

I don't think that the beauty is spoiled by the smoke.Just only the lips are in rubbish dark color,if you wear lipstick on them then it looks beautiful for a girl. And also if she decorate her with jewelery sets and necklaces, she looks more beautiful. :)

I hate smoking, and in my view if you do smoking you cannot have beautiful skin because there is small amount of nicotine present in it that is harmful for health as well as for skin.

I don't like smoking. In my opinion, smoking harm yourself and people around you. So I think smoking harmful for skin.

No way. Smoking is very injurious to your health as well as skin. I didn't read your article Samantha. Sorry about that. But it's not hard to make out, you know. Anything bad for you, will be bad for your skin.
