Thank you for the great tips! I enjoy doing the house up in candles. A tip that works for me is to shop for decorations/lights in January for next season. When I go to decorate it's fun to find a "new" item in the storage container. This way I save money and spare myself from impulse shopping.

I also only allot so much space in shed for all holiday decorations throughout the year. This allows me to show holiday spirit without hoarding unnecessary items.

A neat way to add scent to a house is to dry fruits, flowers, herbs and set it out. To save money you can bag your homemade potpourri when the holidays are over in an airtight container with cinnamon sticks. I will also add Spice candle oil.
