My results have been amazing. Something so simple... my lips have been dry and chapped and a little discolored since I was a child.

Since my 3 glasses of water, my dry, chapped, discolored lips have disappeared.

Of course, I must admit, after the first 3 glasses, I crave water all day. But this experiment has shown me how very dehydrated I have been all of my life and how hydration can change things that I thought were just a characteristic I was stuck with.

What at a great idea! i am already drinking my decaf, but will make the effort to at least get plenty of water on board when i am done.

I think I'll give this a try too. I have been missing my intake of water and usually have this continously dry, thirsty feeling. From someone who normally drank very little water to drinking my 64 plus a day, when I stopped again, I can really feel the difference1!!

I have read that most people walk around dehydrated all day long and never know it, since they are not 'thirsty'.

By the time one is thirsty, they are already well into the dehydration cycle. That is what I taught people at Outward Bound.

Hey Dianne & Jilly!

I believe in that "most of us are dehydrated" theory. Water does so many amazing things for us. It's like a magical potion. Like oil for your engine.

There are mornings that I would like to opt for coffee 1st, but I don't. I get through the 24 oz and then indulge. Sometimes, I lose the desire for the coffee. I'm drinking more water & tea. I've almost taken to enjoying coffee only at night and sporadically. Not sure why, but it doesn't seem to keep me awake.

I remember reading that hydrating yourself the week before an international flight, prevents jet lag. I also know that well-hydrated Marathon Runners suffer less complications afterwards.

So, drink up ladies, here's a toast to you (ching, ching). Come back & tell us about your results.

Okay, I am doing it right now. I'd rather be drinking my decaf...lol. Or maybe it's the warmth I crave. I can try heating up the water.
