Perhaps this happens now because of reading in a vacuum? I spend so much time reading my own work and checking my data against other reports of similar circumstance that the only diversity afforded comes from social sites, which are frequently checked to manage my topic. I'm reading several books on marketing, which is not specifically on topic. However, the purpose of the education is topic driven.
I seem to have flashbacks to a not entirely dissimilar feeling at university, only in reverse. It was reading the same themed materials repeatedly that seemed to compel my brain to go back to basics. I also seem to recall that when I figured that bit out I took up reading Stephen King and Dean Koontz, which oddly enhanced my ability to learn the psychological concepts being thrown at me.
