Raising A Centered Child is a difficult task. I struggle with it just as much as the next parent.

My latest article Raising A Centered Child offers 4 tips for regular Child-Centering maintenance. I hope it brings balance and centering into your home.

Still, there are days when my 3 girls are at each other, not listening to me and quite upset with their dad. In the midst of it all is me. If I can catch myself, before I lose it (usually directed at my husband), I can make a dash for it.

A 3-6 mile run will help me step outside the situation, find balance & review the day's events. By doing so, I can generally see what sparked the discord. Then, I can see a path to resolution.

Helping my children usually requires something a little different. 1st, we all need quiet time. 2nd we deal with the sleep and hunger issues. 3rd, everyone needs their own project or favorite task, this last step serves as a comforting blanket.

What do you do when the family unit feels loose at the seams?
