Onealone and Anna, you make me yearn for my home in the Pacific Northwest. We used to go out to Whidbey Island and watch the Orca whale pods come in to the bay. We could hear them singing and their sounds echoed throughout the cove. It is such a beautiful sound.
Onealone, your poems written during your depression period are so passionate, filled with emotion that comes from your heart and soul. I love the poems and hope you share more.

Dear onealone, This is catharsis. A very healthy yet painful process. I'm tied up with mundane tasks but will get back with you... Remember, God Wins In The End !!Dear Bert, I posted a reply, and a poem with it, on your new link but I will include two here. They actually followed each other.
Like I warned - they are depressing, but it was healing for me to write them!
SHADOWS
There are shadows in my mind. They float across my consciousness Like phantoms of the night, and I find No peace in sleep, only restlessness.
The music in my heart is muted and still. The song of my soul rings out no more And, as I gaze at the distant hill, Theres a shadow that wasnt there before.
Is the shadow in my sight, or in my heart? It descends on all that fills my gaze! Is it real? Or just a part Of this distorted inner haze?
Nothing seems to be the same. I'm walking in some distant land On paths of doubt that have no name, And hearing words I dont understand!
That face now is a shadow too! That voice no longer brings me peace! That love Ive found no longer true And from my torment theres no release.
-------------------------
HOW DEEP MY HEART!
Where is my heart? My love? In the depths of the ocean, down, down, through the shifting shades of blue and green, to where the banks of coral, lit by the filtered sunlight fill my gaze with splashes of colour and thrill my aching soul?
Where fish dart and cruise like silent inhabitants of a peaceful other-world, but even here, in the silent depths of beauty unspeakable, there lurk dangers. Wrecks of ships of past and present, tragic in their history give home to the many life forms that seek refuge in their rusting skeletons.
Does my love lie here, amidst the wrecks of the past?
Like the restless wind, my life is tossed and blown and caught up in the destructive hurricane - and I am at its mercy as it sweeps me up in its wrath and carries me, drives me where I would not go then abandons me in some desert place I know not, or some remote mountain top, miles from home!
Does my love lie here, amidst the unknown?
In the depths of the earth, buried in grief, lost in confusion and fear, hidden from sight, there treasures lie, yet undiscovered, but sleeping until awakened by some prospector seeking riches. And will my love be found, along with the precious gems and minerals there?
Or does my love lie in waiting?
Will it one day blossom and give of its beauty? Will someone deem it a treasure, and treat it with great gentleness and respect? Will it flourish in some heart-garden where it will be tended each day with care? Or, like the sunset, will it fade into night until the birth of a new dawn, when it will shine forth in beauty once more, in the heart of another?
How deep - my heart! -----------------------------------

For Burt and Onealone:
The creations of a great writer are little more than the moods and passions of his own heart, given surnames and Christian names, and sent to walk the earth. - William Butler Yeats - Letter to the Editor, Dublin Daily Express, 2/27/1895

Some recognize it, others do not. Most of the time, because this planet does not care too much for God -- the children of the light get reviled. But that's OK, because God owns everything.

Dear Anna, how lovely to see you again.
I am very moved by your words. As you know, music is also a means of expressing my heart and soul, but since I lost my ability to sing, I turned to the written word. (When a door closes, - a window opens!)
I must share with you something that has impacted on me of late. Are you familiar with the old song THE BLIND PLOUGHMAN?
In the final verse, there are these words:
'God, who took away my eyes, so that my soul might see'
Suddenly, I did not hear those words, but OTHER words - I heard:
'God, who took away my voice, so that my soul might sing'
And that gave me my answer as to why my inner soul was expressing itself in words - such as in the many poems I wrote after 2006.
If you like what I have written, I'll share more. I am among family here, so I feel comfortable in baring my heart and soul.
With love.

Thanks so much Phyllis for your kind words and thoughts. We are kin! Amazing how I've not only found spiritual friends here who think as I do, I've also found friends of the Cetaceans - who love Whales and Dolphins, and who have also had deep experiences with, and from them.
What treasures you all are! I feel that all my life has been coming to this moment - this blending and sharing with souls like my own, my spiritual family, and I can't begin to tell you how mind-blowing this is - in the most remarkable and beautiful way! I just feel touched by the divine when I think of it, and each time I come here.
I hope you all, each and every one of you, know just how beautiful you are!

Dear, dear Bert,
I've already said it all in previous responses, but I have a special message for you. Both of us have sought Oneness with the Divine, and there is a place in our souls where that Divinity lives and loves. You know and recognize it, and so do I.
I once had a dream of who I believed at the time, was the Master, Jesus, (I was about 14) and in the dream I was in the Holy Land, searching for 'the Crib'. A man appeared. (I did not know him. He was dressed simply, as others were, and not in fine robes or anything like that) He asked me what I was looking for, so I replied "The crib". So he took me to a place where there were lots of lanterns and lights, and lots of people filing past, but I could not see any crib. Feeling let down, I walked back outside, and he followed me. He asked if I wanted to go anywhere else. (He told me he was a guide) I thought for a bit, then said "I want to go to Calvary". He gave me a puzzled look, then he gazed into my eyes, and in that time, all sound was still, nothing made any noise, the crowds were silent, but it was like turning down the volume control of a TV set. Everything was moving just the same. I saw people in the market place - all wearing the clothes of biblical times. I just could not hear it.
Then I head him say: "Wherever you want to go, I can show you the way". Then he just disappeared and I woke up in a sweat and shaking.
I am not even going to make a guess at who this was, or what it meant, but my life certainly changed after that. I found myself on a spiritual journey which has never ended. It has taken me along many different paths, and though many storms and tempests, until now I feel my journey is drawing to a close, and lots of things are falling into place for me. Lots of lifelong questions answered and a deeper understanding.
I just wanted to share that with you - my brother.

I just wanted to share that with you - my brother. Hi onealone, this is so wonderful. I'm 49, yet suffered long and hard simply because I wanted to know. I gave up on children and passed by childbearing years because I wanted to know the Real Jesus, not just some dead guy on the cross. Will you help me my friend ? This is not the close or the end, for infinite wonder awaits and new vistas to behold... new horizons await us all for infinity is never never boring. You're more than a sister, you are a soul mate in the purest sense of the word.

Time is not mine, it belongs to my mother. Space is Buddha, my friend... a brother from the same yet a different mother. Flesh and bones what purpose this form ? To give definition.. doesn't matter the color. How boring life would be if we all looked the same... All the money they've made in Hollywood to project all that is hollow and vain. So how will you be weighed then in this mortal form ? It would have been so much easier to be a puppet on a string -- from life's confusion why live in the past, your mind is limited by divine design.. would you give the keys of a rocket ship to a toddler my friend - silly mortal, the babe needs no rocketship for he is guru of old, in a brand new flesh form for this is mercy's plan reincarnation is a fact no need to behold God is a wee bit smarter than man with their imitations so bold - scientific humanism hurry up let's breed - don't you remember the edict ? Everything shall bear from its own seed. So wherefore this planet earth crosscurrents of lifewaves from distant stars a sequestered part of cosmos - god in exile in the world of form - violence and murder is not allowed in the kingdom of God infused and all around - atomic bombs are but jacks and straws the rebellious ones taught you to play.. how many more epochs do we need ? how many more scientific miscreations how many indeed. Why not realize for simplicity's sake that the universe uses patterns of circle, square and parallelogram repeated indeed. Common sense is not so common they say look we've created a robot we need no clay - we can do better than God we don't need him today.. o silly little human, God doesn't know about space shuttles ? He has not seen you enter the fray, such contraptions existed 50,000 years ago or so.. There's nothing new under the sun ? Experiment with free will I say... It's been done before, you can be sure of that, now what will you do this time ? Just sputter and spat ? The rose never had a thorn until man in his thoughts became separated by fear, anger, torment and what not... All drops of the same ocean.. same stuff regardless of clan... melt down the bones and what do you get ? Iron, magnesium, calcium too.. all stuff of earth, earthy.. dust to dust do you regret ? For dust to dust for some seeking mortal power, yet dust to dust without regret was never spoken by the soul.

Indeed as Burt stated so eloquently in his comments above, WE ARE ALL DROPS OF THE SAME OCEAN!!!
Therefore, we are all in the same boat, or lifeboat if you please, with the same final destination, no? (There may be discrimination in life, but there is none in death.)
OneAlone -- your poetry is superb, coming straight from the soul. The Blind Ploughman, well, all I can add is the words speak truth!
And Phyllis, your description of the singing whales...I'd love to witness this singing and frolicking. Funny thing, I've never been but feel that I must voyage to COOS BAY, Oregon. I'm being called.
