If I've learnt one thing in life it's that the head and the heart will always battle for supremacy, and that neither really wins. What you should be listening to is your gut, as that's where our unconcious speaks to us and through which universal energy flows.

So true. And this very matter has kept me locked in utter confusion for a long time. Finally, finally, I realize that my intuition comes from my "gut" or solar plexus region. It is a feeling. If only I had known this early on.

But thank you for this invaluable reminder, Denise. smile

When sitting in meditation let your energy rise through the lower abdomen to your heart area - you'll feel this as energy in your arms, which are your "means" of action in the world.

When feeling thus energized make your decisions.

Susan you are so right, And I would like to add that we receive energy from the Univese through seven areas in our body called chakras, which are ruled by the planet Saturn. One way to test this system is repeat the the Staturnian phrase "I should, I must, I ought." You will feel your energy drop because these words restrict the flow of energy thoughtout the chakras, especially in the area of the heart. Now say the positive phrase, "I choose" and you will feel the energy surge back into the heart.
