If you ever visit Greenwood, MS be sure to drop by the Delta Bistro Restaurant to see their herb garden that grows along the wall. They put fresh herbs in vases on the tables and they smell so good!

It's near the Viking Range Cooking school and in addition to the fragrant atmosphere; they have such good food! And no...I'm not affiliated, just a fan.

Msbaby, those places sound so wonderful! If I do a driveby on my way to Florida this winter (hey, it could happen!) then I will be sure to check the bistro out.

The rosemary didn't take. I will do it again. I planted it too soon and in too hot a spot. it gets hot here.

My chives and carrots are still only sprouts really, but my garlic is thriving, the potatoes are good, and the other herbs seem really happy.

We just had a cold front move in and the lettuce didn't make it. I just brought in the arugula and one of the violas, and am going to root some of the herbs to keep inside while the perennial plants overwinter. I just put mint in a glass to root. This weekend I will grab more rosemary and some of the lemon balm, thyme and marjoram to root.
