Ack, havent posted much lately cuz so far i havent needed help, and now i do. Yup its with the Evrea/Evrae/whatever. The one thing i dont like about the walkthrough is that when it comes to bosses....it doesnt give details and sucks!!!
I suppose thats what this forums for, eh?

Yeah well, once again i beg for sum details, im having so much trouble as most do. I almost beat it quite a few times, but then it haste`s itself and is a pain in the butt. Help?

if your problem is it casting haste on itself use dispel and it will break his haste

Yeah, haste is the big problem with this guy. If you can handle things up till that point, (not getting poisoned, not staying as stone etc etc) then, just before he hits the 10,000 HP mark, cast "Reflect" on him, so that when he DOES cast haste, it bounces off him and hits one of your team.

Evrae will only cast haste on itself if you take haste away from him (ie use Slow on him) so, since Reflect only bounces his spell back to you, and doesn't actually have you "take it away" he won't re-cast haste, and you'll be able to finish him off pretty easily.

Just remember these main things:

Haste Tidus / Rikku
Tell Cid to move as soon as Evrae takes a breath
Heal ANY status immediately (ie Stone, poison)
Heal any damage taken immediately
Allow Cid to use all 3 missile salvos
Use "Reflect" on Evrae before he reaches the 10,000 HP mark

After that, you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

wow, i could have sworn i posted that like 5 minutes ago. dang yall answer fast. anyways, thanx, i`ll try it. yes i usually do last until the point when he has haste. as for the reflect stuff, which im sure its on sphere grid, then im gonna have to work on that. which one is closer to reflect? uh-heh heh -_-' a kingdom hearts wiz, but the exact opposite for ffx.

Also a good way to defeat Evrae is by using Attack Reels if you already have it, believe me when you have used it you'll have to watch out to not kill him to quickly!!!
