Hello Everyone !!! At present online shopping is very much in demand . I just wanted to know how much safe is online shopping ? What are the drawbacks and what are the advantages ?? Thanks

I shop quite a bit online now, but I like to use retailers I'm familiar with and trust so I stick with Amazon and the retailers like Walmart that have brick and motor behind them. Even if I buy through someone's blog, if they're going to these place, then I feel okay. Now that said, occasionally I do try a new retailers, but I watch my bank records like a hawk. But that just may be how we operate going forward as the way we shop changes.

The major drawbacks are ..
Your shopping from a store which is not genuine...
Delay in delivery of products...
Possibilities that the Product when delivered.. wont be the same what we bought online!!
Threat of hacking..

check their reviews online ..
chat to the person who is handling the website... normally every e commerce store has a chat option...
Keep the product track id and bills safe !!

Online shopping is absolutely safe. The only thing that you need to keep in mind is that you just use a genuine shopping portal. The one that i usually go for is BagItToday.com Online shopping is now in fashion as it is easy, saves resources and there is always an option of cash on delivery. One can always go for online shopping, provided he is using a good resource.

You just have to make sure there payment method are safe like Paypal of Google Checkout and many others and make sure they have a valid SSL certificate installed that way your private details are not logged.
