Why did I post this under marriage? I guess because I realized I don't need for my marriage to be a certain way in order to create a joyful home.

How can we have a "perfect" marriage when it is made up of two imperfect people? The only perfection lies in the way we love each other.

When you feel good and feel good about yourself, it really enhances your marriage. A warm, beautiful home filled with music, love and laughter makes you both feel good.

I cleaned my kitchen up (including removing dog hair from floor) and picked some marigolds and chrysanthemums from the garden for a small bouquet. There is a certain affirmation of myself there about being worthy of being surrounded by beauty.
