Does anyone have any ideas for homemade gifts for men? My holiday budget is tiny this year and also, I have a few guys that would feel weird if I bought them something but I want to give them a gift.

One thing I found is a really cute pattern for a Faux Hot Water Bottle that is actually one of those rice hot packs.

I was thinking coffee cozy's might be good too and there is a free pattern for them on Kwik-Sew's web site.

Anyone have any other ideas? Sewn or otherwise?

Julie

I'm making all my boys (the grown ones and the "wish" they were grown ones) pajamas and snuggies this year.

A great idea for a "gamer" or a sports fan is to sew a remote control pouch that hangs over the arm of their chair or couch. You could even make it in their favorite team colors or some manly colors.

Another idea is to make little cinch bags for small electronics.

If you can crochet or knit, warm hats and gloves are usually a hit if you live where it gets cold in the winter. Half finger gloves to wear under regular gloves are popular right now.

Just throwing some ideas around!

I make Christmas gifts every year and the men are always the most difficult. Sheesh! How about...
Bathrobes
Funky boxer shorts
A "manly" quilt
cool seat covers for their car
winter hats
fishing vest with lots of pockets (bonus if you fill it with lures)

If they have a hobby, that makes it easier. You can usually find some kind of "essential gear" that you can make yourself.

Good luck!

How about a fabric wallet. I'm sure you can find some by searching "wallet patterns," "free wallet patterns," or "wallet tutorials."

In my opinion Wallet would be really a nice gift for men. Few more ideas are personalized calenders, scarfs, bracelets, tshirts, hot water bottle cover, opener.

Hello everyone I am a newbie. I think men gifts are hard to make. I have three brothers. I just made them PJs and robes, they can always use them. Jo
