Ok, so im on disc 2, have all the huge materia, and i believe i am about to invade midgar again. But i wanna get lotta good stuff before i do this.

So, heres some questions to ponder over with me, or help me if u know the answer:

1) What does it do/Where do i get the W-Item/summon/etc u get the point materias.
2) If i wanna get the master materias, but dont wanna lose the rest of my materia, is it a waste of time to even get it, should i just keep with individual materia?
3) What are some vital materia that i should have on each characters, i've got 2 summons, hp plus, mp plus, attack counter and all/restore on each character. Then whatever else i want. what are some other excellent materias that i should get/use.
4) ....this is for all masters, but, say i get the summons master materia, i think i lose all my other summon materia, and keep the master right? ok, but when i USE the master summon materia, do i get a choice of which summon i get to use? or is it random? (i think this ones kinda obvious..)

you do not loose your materias when you get the masters... its a new materia that goes with them.

oh really?? excellent, k cuz some sites i read dont really make it clear whether u lose them all, or just get a new one with all of them combined......Thanks!

Okay I will post the rest when I remember them... the w-item materia, when you return to midgar after diamond weapon attacks you can find a ton of items in the train tunnels to the south. That's where the w-itam materia is.

Okay w-magic materia is when you are in the crater (final confrontation), you eventually reach a point where you have to choose between the right or left path. If you go on the left path the w-magic materia is in an area that kind of looks like the ground is circling a shiny light. There is a counter materia in plain sight by the shiny light, the w materia is towards the top/middle of the screen kind of hidden by the greenery,

ok, i aint there yet, but thanks. Where can i get 2 counter attack materias? besides the one where u go to the left that u just said.

And is there any suggested lvl to when i should try and get cloud omnislash, cuz last night, i just did the REGULAR battle arena, and kept dyijng on the 5th fight....and im lvl 49.

If you power up your counter attack materia all the way, it will create a new counter attack materia.

every materia you master will create a new levlel '0' materia - as for omnislash the onlyreal way to obtain this is to keep geeting limit breaks up and using them - so go to a good plce for fighting and keep using level 3 limit breaks. You don't need this to finish the game as it is easy to beat sephiroth and all of the weapons with knights of the round and mimic

Sorry pottsy but you're wrong on this one. Cloud's omnislash (and all of the other characters final limit breaks) are not something you can earn. In clouds case, you ahve to fight in the battle arena until you get at least 32,000 battle points. The you can exchange the points for omnislash. Remember you keep the points as long as you stay in the battle arena area, if you leave you loose any points not exchanged... so fight until you start to get low, then leave the actual battle arena and heal yourself up (without leaving the battle arena area) mmmmm does that make sense? You could probably do it now onion
