I have only been on one date after my divorce, so I won't have to worry about this for a long time, but I want to be prepared! How long is it typical to wait in a relationship to introduce your kids to your boyfriend? I've heard everything from two months, to six months, to after you're engaged. Does it depend on how old the kids are? I totally get that you don't want the kids to get attached to someone new if it does not work out, but the kids are a big part of my life and it seems important to incorporate them at point, I'm just not sure when.

I think the moment you are sure about this new man..that he is The One for you, you should get him introduced to your kids. Also, after you start dating him start giving your kids subtle hints that you are going out with him. So they are not shocked when you tell them about this man.
